Note: This page is my personal website and does not necessarily reflect the opinion or position of IEEE.

I am a Senior Principal Engineer at BAE Systems Semiconductor Technology Center in Manassas, VA. Over the last twenty-five years, I have worked on all facets of semiconductor technology with a special focus on developing and manufacturing advanced semiconductor memory and logic products. I had the opportunity to make significant contributions to the development of successive generations of radiation-hardened semiconductor technologies at BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin and IBM at Manassas, VA. My experience also includes introducing advanced DRAM and Flash memory products into commercial manufacturing at Dominion Semiconductor (Toshiba) and Micron. My current interests include development of phase change memory technology and application of nanotechnology to meet the needs of Department of Defense and space systems.

I have received Masters degrees in Physics from India, Electrical Engineering from Howard University and Management of Technology from University of Pennsylvania. I was awarded ten patents in semiconductor technology. Over my professional career, I have been awarded Dominion Semiconductor President's Award, Lockheed Martin Executive Award, IBM Outstanding Technical Achievement Award and IBM Invention Achievement Award.

From October 1990 to December 1993, I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer, on leave from IBM. During this period, I taught Physics and Mathematics at a rural high school in Fiji. I have also taught Physics as an adjunct instructor at the local community college.

My passions outside work and IEEE revolve around traveling to faraway locations (recent destinations included Albania, Nicaragua, Argentina and Ecuador) and hiking.

I am a Senior Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a Fellow of Washington Academy of Sciences. I am also a member of American Association for Advancement of Science. I have served as the IEEE Northern Virginia Section liaison to District of Columbia Council of Engineering and Architectural Societies and Washington Academy of Sciences.

I also serve on the Career and Technical Education Advisory Committee of Fairfax County, Virginia.
